MGC Scholarship Program
The Midwest Gateway Chapter of HIMSS (St. Louis) annually awards a monetary scholarship to a graduate or post graduate student pursuing an advanced degree in health informatics which includes fields such as biomedical informatics, nursing informatics, medical informatics, public health informatics and generalized health informatics.

The purpose of the award is to recognize those individuals who have the potential to be leaders in the healthcare informatics industry. All applicants must:

a) be a student member of HIMSS with the Midwest Gateway Chapter selected as their chapter.
b) be currently enrolled in classes at their academic institution.

The scholarship application will be made available on the MGC HIMSS webpage in addition to being provided to program directors to distribute to their students.

The MGC HIMSS Scholarship Review Board will review all applications and select the recipient of the award. Students may receive the award only once.

We look forward to receiving your application.
