The Student Forum provided an opportunity for students to meet with HIMSS members who are industry leaders in the St. Louis region and learn about the numerous career development options available in healthcare IT. 17 students from Saint Louis University participated in the forum.
The following were the career tracks that students got opportunity to learn about:
• Program Management Office (PMO)/Hospital Informatics
• Financial Systems/Interoperability (RHIOs)
• Healthcare Marketing/Knowledge Management
• IT Consulting
• IT Software Vendors
