The Midwest Gateway Chapter of HIMSS is an organization of approximately 200+ individuals devoted to improving the delivery of healthcare through system development and application. Our current membership includes management engineers, healthcare information management specialists, information management and telecommunications professionals, clinicians, consultants, hospital administrators, healthcare planners, and students.
The purpose of the Midwest Gateway Chapter is to provide and promote programs to keep our members informed of the regulatory, technologic and strategic changes within the healthcare industry. These programs fulfill our mission to provide our members with the opportunity to: 1) learn new technologies, application and processes, 2) network with peers, both clinical and non-clinical, 3) participate in discussions on the current and future directions of healthcare systems and applications, and 4) provide scholarship opportunities to those seeking careers in these areas of the healthcare industry.
We are currently seeking sponsors to assist us in providing educational programs for the 2009-10 year. Any contribution your organization can make to our Association would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a table describing the various sponsorship levels. Your organization�s contribution will be recognized on our Association�s website, www.himssmidwest.org throughout the 2010-2011 educational year.
